2. That any training on the provisions of the Virginia Freedom
of Information Act (ยง 2.2-3700 et seq. of the Code of
Virginia) completed by a local elected official prior to July 1, 2020, but
after January 1, 2020, shall satisfy the training requirement set forth in
Chapter 531 of the 2019 Acts of Assembly, as it shall become effective.
